Carob Brownies
.

 

A really delicious natural dessert!

1. Combine the following ingredients in a bowl, in the order listed.
Microwave for 3 minutes.

1 lb. nut butter  (creamy natural peanut butter, almond butter or cashew butter)
2 cups walnuts (chopped or halves)
1 lb carob chips (approx. 2 3/4 cups)

Stir well, until carob chips are melted.

2. Add & stir in the following:

1/2 cup flax seed meal (ground flax seed)

3. Pour into 9 X 13 pan (lined with wax paper*) & spread. Sprinkle top with unsweetened shredded coconut.
         *Wax paper allows you to remove pieces more easily.

4. Refridgerate until firm & cut into pieces to serve.
